TONY HESLOP AWARD

The Tony Heslop Award is selected annually by the Everton Acadamy Director, Gareth Prosser, to the Everton Academy Graduate who represents The Club with distinction and passion.

The graduate will have excelled highly both on and off the pitch, showing a combination of outstanding academic acheivements, displayed the high standards set as a representative of Everton Football Club and developed their footballing skills. This award recognises both football and education equally and is named in honour of Tony Heslop.

Tony was a long time member of the Everton Football Club Shareholders' Association and served on the Association's Executive Committee for many years. 

He was a founding member of the Ruleoteros Society, a member of the Everton Heritage Society and also a Trustee of the Everton Collection. 

His dedication to Everton was unequalled and he had a passion to ensure that graduates not only developled their football skills but were also able to deliver high levels of academic achievement.
