We shouldn’t however overlook what a wonderful player he was too. His ability and vision to pick out passes short or long was a delight to behold.
Those who had the pleasure to see him play will remember it as if it was yesterday and his membership of the wonderful Holy Trinity will live long in all our memories.
Howard Kendall was a gentleman, a great footballer and a terrific manager,
and his legacy isone that is true to his deserved status as a legend. He will be rightly remembered and respected by all Evertonians and the wider football community as one of the greats.
